AWSUM began in 2019 when two foodie engineer brothers—Aman, a passionate cook, and Amit, a business enthusiast—left their stable careers to solve a personal problem: the lack of daily meals that were traditional, hygienic, and satisfying. Tired of settling for subpar food, they decided to create what they craved.

Armed with nothing but a ‘Dzire’ and determination, they started serving popular traditional meals like Rajma Rice and Kadhi Rice from their car’s trunk. Every meal was refined using real customer feedback until they perfected recipes that people loved and returned for.

To scale without compromising hygiene or consistency, they developed a chefless, SOP-driven model that ensured every plate matched AWSUM’s standards—at a price that made sense. Soon, they were fulfilling bulk orders for respected institutions like the Department of Commercial Taxes, UP and other corporates, gaining trust and recognition.

Their breakthrough came when they secured an opportunity to station their Food Truck at Club 125. This was soon followed by operations in multiple corporate cafeterias and educational institutions, where they now serve hundreds of meals daily.

Today, they are ready to fulfill their original dream—launching their first QSR outlet, where time-honored flavors meet speed, hygiene, and modern convenience.
